Black Butler made its surprise debut in this issue. Also featured is a Max Ride poster featuring Max playing a prank on Fang.
This was the second issue for which there were widespread complaints that the issues came very late (the June 2009 issue being the prior one). I personally did not receive mine until August 5th, when I can usually expect to have the issue by the 20th of the prior month. Arg.
The second of a three-part excerpt of the light novel Kieli: The Dead Sleep in the Wilderness appears in this issue. Nightschool takes a one-issue hiatus.

I still have not recieved this issue, then again I picked one up at Comic-Con, but it still worries me that I still have not gotten mine yet.
Also one very small thing I noticed, this is the first issue for the Yen Plus logo on the spine of the book to be a color other than white. Just felt like pointing that out…
