Two treats in this issue. First is Forget-Me-Not, a one-shot comic by accomplished Australian artist Queenie Chan about an emperor obsessed with a particular scent. Then comes the first of a three-part taste of the Kieli novel series, a vaguely cyberpunk-ish ghost story about a girl who can see ghosts, an unkillable, undead soldier in a time of peace, and an old possessed radio.

This was my first issue and even tho I just plunged into the series I found it awesome. Sumomomo Momomo was hilarious.
Yes, I though this issue’s Sumomomo was pretty funny too. Not an ending I saw coming.
And did you notice that one of the characters on the Sumomomo cover is flipping the bird? One of the guys in the back - I can’t recall his name. Yeah, he’s holding at a weird angle, but still…
Flipping the bird…? Is that a hand sign of some sort? And if he is holding it at a weird angle, how is it supposed to held? Just curious…
Hmm, Sakuya, what country are you from? Or maybe you had a very protective upbringing…?
Flipping the bird is the middle finger gesture, and it’s typically fully upright.
Sorry for the off topic-ish question by the way and thanks for answering.
Oh, I know what that means I just never heard it reffered to as “flipping the bird”. I litteraly thought someone was flipping an actual bird on the cover but I just failed to see it.
