This issue featured the last appearance of Higurashi When They Cry: Abducted by Demons Arc in Yen Plus. Editor JuYuon Lee stated in her “Editor’s Letter” column that Hero Tales would be taking its place, and also teased another comic, calling it “one of my personal favorite Korean titles.” The identity of that comic was not revealed until the February 2009 was released; it turned out to be Time and Again.

The first segment of a three-part preview of Goong was published in this issue.

This issue also featured Yen Plus’s first fan art section.

I’m a little disappoibnted that ‘Higurashi’ “retired”. However, now that Higurashi is no longer in Yen Plus, I can now buy the collective Volumes without the thought of “wasting money since a the ‘comic series’ is running in Yen+.” Thank you; color pages, additional visuals, and in between chapters gags.

I know exactly what you mean, it feels rather silly to buy the volumes when you can read them in Yen Plus. But like you said, since it is no longer running in YP you no longer get that feeling.
