In ancient times, a young emperor witnesses an event which causes him to spend the rest of his life in obsessive search of a particular scent, that of the Forget-Me-Not flower, while his kingdom falls into disrepair.
Queenie Chan is an accomplished Chinese-Australian comic artist. Besides Forget-Me-Not, she also released a three-volume series entitled The Dreaming via TokyoPop starting in 2005, and also illustrated In Odd We Trust, a one-volume prequel to Dean Koontz’s Odd Thomas novel series, which was released in 2008; a second Odd Thomas volume may be forthcoming. (Having read In Odd We Trust, I personally didn’t quite find it to be my cup of tea, but fans of the novel series may dig it.)
