And the new comic is…
I wasn’t expecting it to be the case, but it turns out the surprise cover for the August issue of Yen Plus will indeed be indicative of a new comic series to start running in the magazine. Yana Tobo’s “Kuroshitsuji,” which, despite the eminently wise Zac Bertschy’s advice, will have its name literally translated as “Black Butler.” It’s about a demonic butler contractually obligated to serve an aloof twelve-year-old head of a wealthy family.

Sounds interesting, can’t wait till I get my issue in the mail.
Yet another GFantasy title (Pandora Hearts, Zombie-Loan, Black Butler). These mangas targets both a male and female audience, but I dont fully like that and I would have preferred a real male-audience-attracting comic, however the three titles I mentioned, above, are all awesome!
Edit: I forgot to mention NABARI NO OU, which is also a GFantasy title.
I think they are trying to appeal to a wider audience. So it makes sense that they publish titles like those, not that there is anything wrong with that.
I really liked Kuroshitsuji! Yen press gets better and better!
